Chesapeake Spice operates in two new state-of-the art facilities built from the ground up, using the principles of lean manufacturing flow, clean design and energy conservation.

Our plants clean all raw spices using several proprietary methods. Then we mill the spices and blend custom seasonings to exact specifications. Chesapeake has the ability to process blends up to 20,000 pounds per batch, and products can be packaged in many different configurations – bags, boxes, and drums, from 1 ounce to 2,000 pound super-sacks. The plants boast the simplicity and elegance of stainless steel combined with individual processing rooms to prevent cross-contamination. Products enter the individual rooms in a raw state and come out in a finished state, which minimizes reprocessing.

Chesapeake Spice is certified by the Maryland Department of Agriculture to produce organic products.
